What is a webinar?

Enjoy the convenience and cost-efficiency of a webinar – watch the speaker’s slide presentation on the internet while listening by telephone or through your device's (computer, ipad, smart phone) microphone and speakers (VoIP). There is no limit to the number of attendees from your agency who may participate at your site using one phone line and a computer with internet access.

 

Remaining current with all of the intricacies and changes related to billing regulations and requirements can be a daunting task for billers who must focus on performing their daily responsibilities. This webinar will focus on the knowledge and strategies needed to help maximize your billing and collections efforts. This webinar will be instructed by billing experts: Andrew Turner and Jordan Cichon of BlackTree Healthcare Consulting.

Registration Fee

  MHCA Member Rate  $99 per agency line
  Non-Member Rate  $149 per agency line

Registration fees are based on one phone/webinar connection; multiple site participation for your agency will require a separate registration fee for each connection. Sharing of registration or fees with other agencies and/or individuals is prohibited. If your agency purchased only one phone/webinar connection but connects to the presentation from multiple site areas, your agency will be invoiced for the additional lines used to participate.

 

All registrations include 6 months of access to the webinar recordings so your member agencies’ entire staff can be trained!

You will be sent the recording link following the presentation and it will be available for 6-months following the webinar. The webinar format allows education of home health clinicians, supervisors and quality coordinators in a concise and low cost format plus the additional bonus of having access to the materials for a full 6-months provides additional flexibility to ensure everyone in the agency has an opportunity to access the information. Recordings do not qualify for CEU.

 

Speaker Biography

Andrew Turner, Associate, BlackTree Healthcare Consulting, Philadelphia, PA

Andrew Turner is a financial and operational consultant with emphasis on project management surrounding accounts receivable reductions and revenue cycle redesigns for home health and hospice agencies. Results have led to process improvement, streamlined operations, and increased revenue.

 

Jordan Cichon, Associate, BlackTree Healthcare Consulting, Philadelphia, PA

Mr. Cichon helps agencies across the country improve processes, streamline operations, and increase revenue. His work has focused on operational and accounts receivable engagements with an emphasis on project management and leadership surrounding increased cash flow, accounts receivable reductions, revenue reporting and interim management. Mr. Cichon most recently completed an eight-month interim management position as a Revenue Cycle Director at a California based Home Health and Hospice agency. He is well-versed in several EMR systems including Homecare Homebase, EPIC, HealthWyse, Synergy, DeVero and Emdeon.

 

Continued Education Credits

This program has been designed to meet the continuing education requirements for the Minnesota Board of Nursing for contact hours.

Prior to each webinar, a GoToWebinar link will be e-mailed to you. You will need to register through this link to attend the webinars. You will be sent a final confirmation email which will include a join link to access the webinar, a dial-in number and an access code/PIN to listen in via telephone. Google Chrome may be the optimal browser to use. Do not forget to enter your PIN when you call in. You will also be sent any pertinent handouts if available, the sign-in sheet, and evaluation form. If your Contact Person does not receive the email confirmation prior to the webinar, please contact our office to verify your registration.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be in writing and received by MHCA on or before October 1, 2018 to receive a refund less a $25 cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellations made after the cancellation deadline or for no-shows.
