Waiver Provider 101

Waiver Provider 101

The Minnesota Department of Human Services recently announced a Waiver Provider 101 online learning opportunity for providers, waiver managers, supervisors, case managers, lead agencies and other interested stakeholders.

This course introduces providers to basic information about home and community-based services (HCBS) and Minnesota Health Care Programs (MHCP). The training targets people that want to provide services through the HCBS waiver and alternative care (AC) program. Get answers to many of your questions and learn where to go for answers! Each module lasts approximately 20-30 minutes.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Gather information on the training requirements
  • Recognize and use resources throughout the training
  • Discover how to navigate the MHCP Enrolled Providers webpages
