Description

Ready to take your agency’s reimbursement strategy to the next level? In this hands-on session, you’ll dig deep into your agency’s VBP reimbursement roadblocks, uncover what’s holding you back, and learn how to target the issues that matter most. Walk away with practical solutions to boost your outcomes — and watch your Star Ratings rise as a result!

With sessions offered throughout the year, you can easily find dates that fit your schedule. Two sessions will be included in registration. The first session will focus on discovery and planning. You will take your new ideas back to your team and start implementation. The second session will be reviewing the progress made in the past 60 days and either making changes to your PIP or start a new one. The workshop will focus on the most prevalent, highest-impact quality problems.

Objectives:

1.    Understand which outcomes affect Value Based Purchasing and what outcomes effect an agency’s star rating.
2.    Understand what resources and data to use for determining what outcomes should be changed to make a difference in care.
3.    Understand how to apply PDSA (plan – do – study – act) to a Performance Improvement Project (PIP).
4.    Prepare a Performance Improvement Project plan specific to their agency needs.
5.    Complete the outcome tool to create performance improvement projects.
