HOSPICE UPDATES:  2017 PEPPER and Quality Reporting Issues --Updated PEPPER User’s Guide Now Available!

As reported previously, the 2017 (Q4FY16) Hospice Program for Evaluating Payment Patterns Electronic Report (PEPPER) is scheduled for release on April 17, and the TMF Health Quality Institute has scheduled a free WebEx event with presenter Kimberly Hrehor on Tuesday, April 25, from 1 to 2 pm CENTRAL.  The topics covered as part of the program are new items associated with the Q4FY16 Hospice PEPPER, including the new “Long GIP Stays” target area and “Live Discharges by Type” report.

This program is free, but registration is required. You can register by clicking here. Registration is limited to 1,000 sites, so hospices are encouraged to coordinate internally to prevent inefficient duplicate registrations.  Additional information is available on the Hospice Training and Resources.
