Next year, there will be changes coming to the Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) model that will impact your agency’s payment. This will not be a new payment method but rather an incentive that can positively affect payment to those who provide quality care.

The main upcoming change is the addition of something called the Discharge Function Score, which will comprise of 20% of your agency's VBP score. The Discharge Function Score will be calculated using some of the GG responses on the OASIS.
