Locating Your Event Within the App

To locate your event within the app, tap Current Events. Locate your event from the listing [MHCA 56^th Annual Meeting & Expo] and tap to read the event details. To open the event, tap the Go to Event button at the bottom.

On the app you can:

• Create your custom schedule for each day of the conference.
  
• Download and access handouts for each session of the conference.

Logging in to the app

Only registered attendees can log in to the conference app. Please email education@mnhomecare.org with any questions.

Handouts

Speaker handouts can only be accessed via the conference app. Speaker handouts will be available for print-out beginning September 23 and up to three weeks following the conference. As we receive handouts from the presenters, we will post them.

We are dedicated to providing and promoting quality education.

This program has been designed to meet the continuing education requirements for the Minnesota Board of Nursing, Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy, and Minnesota Board of Speech Language Pathology for up to 11.5 contact hours.

Several programs also meet the continuing education requirements for the MN Board of Social Work (which has approved Minnesota Home Care Association as a provider of continuing education). Application is being made to the Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy for MN-Category 1 continuing education hours (select sessions) and the Minnesota Board of Executives for Long Term Services and Supports (BELTSS).

CEUs will be awarded through the Results@Hand app. Attendees must enter the session code that will be given by the moderator at the end of the session and fill out a short survey. CEU instructions can be found on the app, or see the registration desk with questions.

In the event of a change to a session, all reasonable efforts will be made to provide a qualified substitution.

Confirmation Notice

A confirmation notice will be emailed once the conference registration has been processed. The email will go to the email address provided on the registration form. If you have not received a confirmation notice, please call MHCA at 651-635-0607 to confirm receipt of your registration.

On September 23, a final confirmation email will be sent to the registered attendee, including the link to the handouts.

Need to Substitute?
Substitutions will be taken until the conference begins at no additional charge. Please notify MHCA of any name changes.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?
A written cancellation emailed by September 23 is required for a refund less a $25 cancellation fee ($25 per cancellation). Cancellations made between September 24 – 30 are charged 50% of their registration fee to cover expenses incurred. Attendees who cancel after September 30, do not substitute another individual, or do not attend are liable for full fees and will not be entitled to a refund. Please notify Matt Oberdalhoff of any cancellation.

We are excited to offer an opportunity to attend sessions virtually. Each day of the conference will have a virtual live-stream option. Sessions in the main room will be live streamed via Zoom and some sessions will be recorded. Not all sessions will be available. All virtual education must be watched live and in its entirety to qualify for CEU. No partial credit will be given.
