Wednesday

MHCF Silent Auction and Gift Card Wall
Bring your wallet and get ready to bid on fun auction items! Support the Minnesota Home Care Foundation by purchasing items from the Silent Auction and Gift Card Wall in the Expo Hall. All proceeds benefit the Minnesota Home Care Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services, supplies, and education to aid home care agencies across Minnesota. MHCF is currently conducting multiple initiatives to combat the home care workforce shortage, including teaching students about home care career opportunities. All major credit cards accepted. 

Expo Grand Opening and Reception

There will be a reception right after the education sessions are finished. It will be a chance to meet the exhibitors and sponsors and network with others in home care. Food and beverages will be available.

Cornhole Tournament (Free!)

Come participate in the Cornhole Tournament! Otherwise known as "bean bag toss", cornhole is a game in which small bags filled with dried corn are tossed at a target consisting of an inclined wooden platform with a hole at one end.

How can I participate? You can sign up to play here or you can hang out and watch! 
Tournament Details: The cornhole tournament will be played by teams of two in a single-elimination style bracket. Register with your team member, or as an individual and we will pair you with another person. The winning team will be awarded a prize!

Individual Registration: Free!
Food & Drink: There will be a cash bar available.

Introducing the MHCA Book Club: The Caring Professional Readers (CPR)

Running concurrently to the Cornhole Tournament, we will have a quieter but no less fun option for bibliophiles to come together and talk about Winter Stars: An Elderly Mother, an Aging Son, and Life's Final Journey by Dave Iverson. Executive Director Joy DesMarais-Lanz and Board Member Jaime Kummer will lead conversation about this amazing book. Request it from your local library or snag it from a book store so you can get started today!
We will meet on Wednesday, October 7 on the patio right outside of Dockside, weather permitting. If inclement weather occurs, we will meet inside Dockside. This is a free event, sign up here!

Immerse yourself in the Serenity Spa Experience, where you can find the harmony and balance of the lake lifestyle at its finest! Spa appointments may be made by dialing 218-562-7158. The spa is open daily at 9:00 am (hours may vary based upon demand).
